About ShareARide
Intercity travel, without the queue.
ShareARide puts Botswana’s intercity coaches online, so you can compare departures, pick your seat and pay your way before you get to the rank.
Why we started
Catching a coach between towns has long meant arriving early, queueing for a ticket and hoping there’s still a seat when you reach the front. Plans change, coaches fill up and nobody knows until it’s too late.
We built ShareARide so passengers can see every departure, choose a seat and travel with a ticket already in their pocket — and so operators can fill their coaches, manage their crews and know exactly who is on board.
Made in Botswana, for the people who travel it every day — students heading home, families visiting, and everyone going to work.
What you get with ShareARide
Pay for your stretch
Board and alight anywhere along a line. Fares are priced for the leg you actually ride, not the whole route.
Choose your exact seat
See which seats are free on the live seat map and book up to three at a time for you and your companions.
Pay your way
Orange Money, MyZaka or bank card confirm your ticket instantly — or reserve now and pay at the rank.
A ticket you can’t lose
Every seat gets its own booking reference. Find it any time with your phone number, no account needed.
Safer journeys
Conductors check every ticket on board, and the ShareARide app has an SOS button that alerts our operations desk.
Live from the operators
Coach companies run their fleets, crews and timetables on ShareARide, so the departures and seats you see are real.
For coach operators
Run your fleet on ShareARide
Publish schedules and fares, assign coaches and crew, sell seats online and at the rank, and see live bookings and manifests from one dashboard. Drivers and conductors get their own tools for check-in and ticket verification.
