Account Deletion Request

Use this page to request deletion of your Sharearide account and associated personal data.

Before You Request Deletion

If you have an active booking, upcoming trip, pending refund, unresolved payment, complaint, or support matter, please contact support before requesting deletion. Deleting your account may affect your ability to access tickets, booking history, refunds, and support history.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an account deletion request to info@sharearide.co.bw with the subject “Sharearide Account Deletion Request” or use the in-app account deletion option where available. You may also contact support by phone on +267 74 653 048 or WhatsApp on +267 75 703 276 if you need help submitting the request.

Information Required

To protect your account, Sharearide may ask you to provide your full name, mobile number or email linked to the account, last known booking reference where applicable, and any information reasonably required to verify that you are the account holder.

What Will Be Deleted

Where possible, Sharearide will delete or anonymise account profile information, login credentials, saved preferences, and personal information linked to your account.

Information We May Retain

Sharearide may retain certain information where required or permitted for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, platform security, dispute resolution, operator settlement, or record-keeping purposes.

Expected Processing

Sharearide will review the request and may contact you for verification or clarification. Once verified, the deletion request will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to legal, operational, payment, and dispute requirements.
